Why I Write

I write to bring together kids and the adults in their lives. To spark conversations about community, mental health, love, and joy. To make people laugh and pique their curiosity. To do my part to ensure that every kid feels seen.

I also am a professional fundraiser for nonprofits. That means I tell stories all day every day, with the goal of making our world a better place. When all is said and done, that's why I write.
